Ons tweehonderd jaar oude huis ligt op een prachtige, stille plek in de Perigord Pourpre,
het zuidwestelijke deel van de Dordogne. Het is een lieflijke, heuvelachtige wijnstreek met het stadje Bergerac als middelpunt. De twee gastenverblijven die deel uitmaken van ons woonhuis hebben hun eigen opgang en u verblijft hier geheel privé. In overleg is ook uw hond welkom. Tijdens uw verblijf kunt u heerlijk ontspannen in de grote tuin, op uw eigen terras of bij het royale zwembad van 5x11 m. Vanuit de tuin en het zwembad heeft u een weids uitzicht op de omgeving.
In de omgeving, waar naast veel druiven en pruimen ook graan en zonnebloemen worden verbouwd,
kunt u met de auto, met de fiets of te voet mooie tochten maken.
Op de nabij gelegen Dordogne kunt u kanoën en kajakken.
Er zijn talloze middeleeuwse bastidestadjes, zoals Eymet, Issigeac en Monflanquin met hun kleurrijke weekmarkten en restaurantjes, en imposante kastelen.
En uiteraard de Routes des Vins, de wijntochten met hun vele chateaus ...
Een aanrader is ook de prachtige stad Bordeaux, die per trein of auto binnen 2 uur te bereiken is.
Het vliegveld van Bergerac ligt op een kwartier rijden en heeft geregelde vluchten van en naar Rotterdam en een flink aantal bestemmingen in Het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Our two-hundred-year-old house is in a beautiful, quiet spot in the Perigord Pourpre,
the southwestern part of the Dordogne. It is a lovely, hilly wine region with the town of Bergerac at its centre. The two guesthouses that are part of our house have their own entrance and you will stay here completely privately. By arrangement, your dog is also welcome. During your stay you can relax in the large garden, on your own terrace or by the large swimming pool of 5x11 m. From the garden and the swimming pool you have a wide view of the surroundings.
You can make beautiful trips by car, by bike or on foot in the surrounding area, which grows grapes and plums as well as grain and sunflowers.
On the nearby Dordogne River, you can canoe and kayak.
There are numerous medieval bastide towns, such as Eymet, Issigeac and Monflanquin with their colourful weekly markets and restaurants, and imposing castles.
And of course the Routes des Vins, the wine tours with their many chateaus ...
Also highly recommended is the beautiful city of Bordeaux, which can be reached by train or car within 2 hours.
Bergerac airport is a 15-minute drive away and has regular flights to and from Rotterdam and quite a few destinations in The UK.
